He received his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Queensland. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and is a former editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques. WebGenerally, RF and microwave transistor oscillator design is a complex problem. Depending on the technical requirements, it is necessary to define the configuration of the oscillator circuit, choose a proper transistor type, evaluate and measure the parameters of the transistor nonlinear model under small- and large-signal conditions.
