Other ATC replacements were the same. This is something that needs to be added to the FS2024 SDK. And yes, it will still retrieve METARS.

Apart from getting QNH in inches, wrong altitudes assignments and alt being wrong below FL180... but nothing I couldn't handle or fix. I will stick with default ATC for now.
