Earth voltage
WebCommon to ground voltage question. Quick question to you folks from a boiler/hydronics guy. When I start up new equipment and record voltages, I always check my comm to ground readings. Most of our equipment manufacturers don't want to see more than 1v. I replaced a pump motor and was looking at different things to see why it bricked too soon. WebTypically, lightning discharges 30,000 amperes, at up to 100 million volts, and emits light, radio waves, x-rays and even gamma rays. [1] Plasma temperatures in lightning can approach 28,000 kelvins. Atmospheric electricity is the study of electrical charges in the Earth's atmosphere (or that of another planet ).
